Who We Are
Self Help Centers can help with court forms, filing paperwork, opening cases in court, and understanding court processes. Self Help Center staff do not give legal advice or representation because they are open to everyone in a community and must be able to provide help to both parties in a court case. Self Help Centers are a good option for someone representing themselves in court, and in situations where legal aid cannot help. If you have a lawyer representing you, you usually can’t use the self-help center.
