The Appellate Self-Help Clinic is usually open on Wednesdays between 9 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 3 pm. First come, first served.

Who We Are

Public Counsel is the largest pro bono law office in the nation. Public Counsel works with major law firms and corporations to change people's futures through direct legal services, impact litigation, and policy advocacy. Public Counsel's activities are far-ranging and impact a wide spectrum of people who live at or below the poverty level.

Public Counsel provides or facilitates interpretation and translation services to ensure that individuals can understand their rights and participate effectively in legal proceedings.

Income Guidelines

Public Counsel offers free legal services with income restrictions, based on IOLTA guidelines. There are exceptions through some of our court based clinics.
