| Information | Oasis provides free and low-cost immigration legal services for LGBTQ+ immigrants. Oasis provides support for individuals who are seeking safety in the U.S. through asylum and other immigration pathways like green cards, family petitions, and citizenship. Oasis is NOT able to represent people living outside the United States. Each case is different. In order to assess your case, the best next step is to complete an online form to request a consultation: https://www.oasislegalservices.org/forimmigrants/consultation Oasis does NOT provide drop-in/walk-in services. All services are by appointments only. |
Who We Are
Oasis Legal Services supports ow-income LGBTQ+ Immigrants who have survived violence and persecution due to their sexuality, gender identity, and/or HIV status by offering quality, culturally responsive legal representation and social services to the Bay Area and Central Valley.
The Asylum program is open to individuals in geographic areas covered by the SF Asylum Office and in immigrations proceedings at San Francisco, Sacramento, and Concord courts.
Oasis Legal Services offers legal assistance for clients seeking asylum, immigration pathways, and social services. Oasis Legal Services also offers Know Your Rights resources, immigration resources, and trainings for advocates/direct service providers.

| Income Guidelines | The Asylum Program is completely free. As a nonprofit, Oasis legal services for permanent residency, family petitions, and citizenship are offered for free to qualifying individuals. For clients who make above the income limit, Oasis will charge a sliding scale fee based on the client’s household income. No one is ever turned away due to their inability to pay. |

| Eligibility Restrictions | For asylum cases, Oasis Legal Services serves clients within the geographic area governed by the San Francisco Asylum office, or individuals whose removal proceedings are before immigration courts in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Concord. |
