Income Guidelines

Income eligibility requirements depend on the nature of service requested. Many of our services can only be provided to individuals in households with income less than 125% of the Federal Poverty Level. Some services, like assistance with Health-related matters or services provided for seniors, may be available regardless of income level.

Description of Services

Many eligible applicants receive initial advice and assistance immediately after applying for services through the Legal Advice Line. Cases that meet internal case acceptance guidelines are transferred from the Legal Advice Line to our various substantive law teams for further assistance, which may range from brief service to full representation.
