Who We Are

Catholic Charities of Los Angeles provides immigrants with assistance in legalizing their residency status and naturalization. In addition, we offer a wide range of refugee resettlement services to help refugees adjust to their new lives in the Los Angeles area.
 
With four locations throughout Los Angeles County, we offer a variety of legal services including, but not limited to:
‚Ä¢  Family Visa Petitions
‚Ä¢  Adjustment of Status Applications
‚Ä¢  Consular Visa Processing
‚Ä¢  Naturalization Services
‚Ä¢  Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Applications
 
In addition, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has supported Comprehensive Immigration Reform for many years. Catholic Charities of Los Angeles supports the USCCB position. The USCCB supports Comprehensive Immigration Reform that:
‚Ä¢  Provides a path to citizenship for undocumented persons in the country
‚Ä¢  Preserves family unity as a cornerstone of our national immigration system
‚Ä¢  Provides legal paths for low-skilled immigrant workers to come and work in the United States
‚Ä¢  Restores due process protections to our immigration enforcement policies
‚Ä¢  Addresses the root causes of migration, such as persecution and economic disparity
