Who We Are

AHA provides legal representation in impact housing and tenants' rights cases through two projects: Project IMPACT and the Tenants' Rights Project.

The Tenants' Rights Project helps conserve rental housing, improve its condition, and enforce tenants' rights in existing units. The Tenants' Rights Project (TRP) works to save rental housing and helps tenants in their fight for decent housing.

Project IMPACT enforces laws that require planning, funding and development of new affordable housing to achieve balanced and inclusive communities. Project IMPACT represents clients in their fight for housing justice by enforcing laws that require planning, funding and development of affordable housing and balanced communities.

125% of federal poverty guidelines, senior or disabled, for individual applicants; majority of group income eligible for groups; or nonprofits representing eligible clients.
