Who We Are

A family law facilitator is a lawyer with experience in family law who works for the superior court in your county to help parents and children for free. They can give you information on establishing paternity as well as child, spousal, and partner support orders.  They can also help with filling out court forms, figuring out support amounts, and referrals to other organizations that help parents and children.

Self Help Centers can help with filing paperwork and understanding court processes. Self Help Center staff do not give legal advice or representation. This is a good option for someone representing themselves in court, and in situations where legal aid cannot help.
