NEW LAWS: Workers will be able to receive 90% of their regular pay when they are disabled from working, bonding with a new child, or caring for a seriously ill family member.

 

Another law makes it so Employers are no longer allowed to require employees to use their vacation time before using paid family leave. (AB 2123).

 

These laws take effect January 1, 2025.
