Bet Tzedek provides legal services to the elderly, indigent & disabled. We work in a variety of areas - landlord/tenant, slum housing cases, nursing home & long term care facility matters, consumer fraud litigation (emphasis on predatory lending, real estate fraud), Holocaust reparations, kinship care, relative care, employment rights, public benefits, debtor/creditor, wills, conservatorship, guardianship, simple bankruptcies. We focus on the problems of seniors, though serve everyone as resources permit. First priority is given to those on public benefits - all must meet income & asset eligibility guidelines.
