 VLSC provides free legal services in select areas of civil law. There are specific income eligibility guidelines. Your family's income must be at or below 75% of the median income for Alameda County as set by State of California, Department of Housing and Community Development. VLSC does not provide services in criminal law or if you are seeking a monetary award. There is a $20 processing fee for pro bono case referrals.
