| CANHR is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of care and quality of life for long term care residents in California. Services include: consumer info through a statewide hotline providing pre-placement counseling, Medi-Cal eligibility, resident rights and quality info on all nursing homes in California. CANHR offers a lawyer referral services for Estate Planning for long term care, Elder Abuse and Neglect, Protective Services, and Special Needs Trusts. Client fees are available on a regular fee, reduced fee, and pro bono basis depending on the client's income, resources and legal need. Elder abuse, neglect and financial abuse cases are on a contingency basis. |
